My First Abercrombie Clothing Haul

I recently placed my first Abercrombie clothing order and I was so happy with every item that had to share (this is not a sponsored post nor are the links provided here are affiliated). Here's the deal, I'm 5"1, 135lbs and have a medium build - this means that I usually have to alter my clothing to some degree if I want the proper fit. I knew they had petite sizing but I normally find petite sizing too narrow for my frame so I wasn't interested, but then I noticed that they offered their Curve Love line in petite as well... well dang! I had to give er a whirl!

Check out my try on reel HERE and make sure you give me a follow on IG as well :)

The first grouping of pieces are all vegan leather and some may say I went overboard, but if I find something that fits me well without alterations - I buy one in every color! Here is the deal with the vegan leather pants - obviously the first question I had was if the quality was comparable to Aritzia's cult favourite the Melina pants. I would say the quality isn't as good as the Melinas but they honestly aren't far off so the fact the they fit my petite curvy frame perfectly made them a clear winner in my books. The vests are such a STEAL at 50% off right now and they are the perfect topper for our inconsistent winters here on the East Coast. The Faux Leather Shirt is listed as oversized but I would size up if you wanted a baggier fit and have a chest/hips because it is cut fairly straight - I would say its on the cusp of TTS for me and I'm going to keep it to save the hassle of returning it.

This jacket folks... is a must buy! Not only is it in mad sale right now (65% off) but it is available in petite sizing which means that the arm length and total length are perfection. Definitely size down on this one because it is very oversized! I'm normally a small and I ordered an extra small and still have room for lots of layers if I needed. I also love that the hood is detachable. Win-Win! Let's move on shall we? I will be honest here and say that I own one body suit and I have worn it maybe 2 times - mind you, it was inexpensive and flimsy so maybe that is why. I love a good staple piece that has some interest and these contouring body suits with cut outs are just that! Its so flattering and adds a hint of sassy to your outfit without trying too hard. I would size up if you are medium to large chested because it will show your bra - or you could go braless. Maybe take one in each size a try it on for a perfect fit. I wear solely all high rise pants and denims. If the trends go back to low rise anything then they can leave me in the dust with all the high rise bottoms! These cardigans are not only soft and comfy but they are the perfect length to pair with my high rise bottoms. I particularly love how the tank/cardigan set has a loop at the shoulders to keep the two pieces attached.

I rarely buy jeans anymore (until now) because they never fit right and they are always such a paint get altered because the seams are so bulky. I went out of my comfort zone and ordered a few different silhouettes thinking that most wouldn't work and I would return the majority of them. To my surprise, I loved every single pair and and I'm excited to edit out some of my ill fitting older jeans from the closet to make space for these.
