A #quietluxury experience with the 2017 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid

It has been a whirlwind last few weeks with me returning to the workforce and "attempting" to juggle working full time, daycare transitioning (and ALL of the GERMS that come with it), house work (or lack there of), blogging, making baby things...and of course website crashes and glitches galore. Phew, that was a mouthful! I'm not sure when everything will click into place for us routine wise, but I'm hoping it is coming soon. What I can say is that I'm so incredibly happy and grateful to have had the opportunity to spend a luxurious night getting pampered and spending some quality time with the husband before this perfect storm of reality hit us.

I'm going to be the first to throw it out there that I am not a car blogger or an expert by any means and I will not be able to tell you any technical specifics about this vehicle, but what I can tell you is what I loved about the 2017 Lincoln MKZ Reserve Hybrid after having her for a week. First off, it is a stunner to see in person! I was really drawn to it's streamlined and polished exterior and lush interior design. The interior also features a push-button shift, yes you heard right, this means no annoying stick shift between the driver and the passenger. You would be surprised as to the difference it makes in terms of uncluttered space, it was actually hard to get used to my stick shift when I had to give this beauty back. This vehicle also had the most stunning panoramic glass roof I have ever seen in a sedan and with a simple push of a button we were able to take in all of the views. One of my favourite feature of this vehicle was the fact that it was a hybrid, and I was stunned at how quiet it was. There were a few times when I sat in the car and ended up turning it on and off because I wasn't sure if it was actually running... rookie hybrid vehicle driver over here!

For our luxury experience we enjoyed a romantic getaway to Fox Harb'r Resort and Spa just over an hour from Halifax. We were treated to a relaxing couples massage at their spa and then a delicious four course dinner in their restaurant. The grounds are immaculate and although it was a rainy stay, the view from our suite was still breathtaking. I wish I could bottle our 24 hours of relaxation and luxury and just immerse myself in it once in a while when I'm frantically trying to juggling all of the things in our day to day life. Theres an app for that right?

Thanks so much to Lincoln Canada for giving me the pleasure of experiencing luxury at its finest and for giving me memories of calm and relaxation to call upon when I needed it most over the past few weeks!
