Snacking and Meal Time Made Easy With ezpz

Toddlers and meal time can be tricky on any given day so we love that our ezpz silicone mini mat make meal times easy peasy (pun intended! HA!) at home and on the go. We purchased our first one at Nurtured when we started to let Mía experiment with finger foods at around 6-7 months and it is easily one of the most used items for us. So when Hip Mommies reached out to see if we wanted to collaborate and share our thoughts on their plates, it was a no brainer.

The owner and inventor of these clever mats is Lindsey Laurain, who is a mama of three herself so she found a solution to a common problem we all have at mealtime. One of my favourite features about their mats is the fact that it suctions to the table so it prevents that mighty toddler strength from dumping everything onto the floor... well at least it makes it a little more difficult for them. These ezpz products are made from 100% food-grade silicone and they are free of BPA, BPS, PVC, lead and phthalates and do not support the growth of fungus, mold or bacteria. They are also dishwasher safe and stackable for super easy storage. They even have bowl mats (perfect for cereals) and their play mat is designed for the creative days (painting, drawing, crafting) or a fun snack with veggie sticks and a dips.

The mats are portioned into three compartments as a helpful reminder to give our kiddos their fruit/vegetables, protein, and carbohydrate servings at each meal time. The larger Happy Mat has larger portions that are ideal for the toddler years and the Mini Mat is perfect for the beginning stages of finger foods and solids. We especially love the Mini Mat for slipping into our diaper bag to take to restaurants or while we are travelling around for the day. Once you are done with it, you can easily wipe it clean with a baby wipe and slip it back into it's carrying bag to take home. It takes the anxiety of whether a restaurant has plastic bowls or if the table is "clean enough" even after you wipe it down... and of course the worry that they will fling their plate of whatever across the room... in public... yikes!

I would love to hear if you guys have one ourselves or your go to snacks on the go! I'm always looking new snack ideas for Mía.
