My Parisienne Baby Shower  Brunch

Today was filled with my favorite things (macarons, peonies and all things Parisienne) and of course some of my favorite ladies around! I didn’t want a big baby shower for baby number two, actually I didn’t think about having any type of shower at all! But I’m so happy that Monica and Nicole  took time out of their incredibly busy schedules to spoil me for an afternoon.

I was greeted with a delicious non-alcoholic mimosa and lots of hugs from the sweetest group of ladies. Of course when I saw the table set with my favorite flowers and macarons I almost teared up with gratitude and happiness! They got macaroons from my favorite spot ( Le French Fix ) that made the macaroons for my wedding 4 years ago and took the extra step to personalize them with everyone’s names with edible ink by the talented Lisa of Scribble and Script . We chatted and ate and chatted some more and it was just perfect!

I didn’t want any gifts for the baby because we already have the essentials and are fortunate enough to be able to get things when we need it. So instead of gifts for the baby and I, we will be bringing donations to the Adsum for Women and Children here in Halifax. If you are interested in donating as well, click HERE to see how you can help!

Thanks to all of the ladies that came out to celebrate this baby and myself, and of course I missed all of you who could not make it! I'm so truly lucky to have such amazing humans in my life!
